Colectivo Osso receives support from DGARTES for the development of another artistic project

Among its various ongoing projects, th Colectivo OSSO, a leading CIAC partner, has just received the support of DGARTES for the development of a project of artistic residences in the village of São Gregório, in the municipality of Caldas da Rainha, whose program includes a set of creation activities, research and artistic programming in articulation with several local, national and international partners, among which we highlight the Center for Research in Arts and Communication.

Performance and Territory, the name of the research area developed by this group, is characterized by the articulation between the experimental work and the artistic creation of the residences and the parallel academic research, by the artists of the OSSO and the associated researchers. This strand combines different artistic areas: dance, theater, music, architecture, visual arts, interactive design and new media, in a transdisciplinary logic of exploring possibilities of extrapolation of their matrices and specific fields, adapted to different physical and conceptual territories. The areas of study included are Performance Studies, Aesthetics, Interactive Design, Sound Arts, Architecture and Art and Community, which contribute to an in-depth critical reflection of artistic practices and their possibilities of replication and dissemination of knowledge.

The Collective will also be present in the week of the Doctoral retreat in Media Digital-Art, in Alfama, for a workshop promoted by Beatriz Cantinho and Mariza Dimas.
