Isabel Rio Novo, CIAC Researcher and Leya Prize finalist, recently published another historical novel, A Febre das Almas Sensíveis, by Leya. The researcher, who is also a teacher at Instituto Superior da Maia (ISMAI), had already surprised the public and literary critics when she published her previous novel Rio do Esquecimento in 2016. In 2018, the author takes the reader again in a journey back in time to the first half of the twentieth century, when tuberculosis marked the society of the time.
A Febre das Almas Sensíveis, which has been widely praised and well received by readers, is scheduled for public launch on February 26, at 6:00 pm, at the Armazéns do Castelo, at Rua das Carmelitas, in Oporto.
