Raquel Pacheco has just published two new articles

“Arte, Entretenimento e Política: O Cinema no Contexto Educativo”(Arts, Entertainment and Politics: Cinema in the Educational Context) is the name of the article published by the 7th issue of the journal Diálogos com Arte – magazine of Art, Culture and Education, the online magazine of the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo. In this article, the postdoctoral researcher identifies and reflects on the emergence and development of cinema and education in Portugal, as well as its current challenges. Recently, was also published in the Journal of Cinema and Audiovisual Language, a publication produced in partnership between the Laboratory of Information and Communication Technologies (LATEC / UFRJ) and the Mobile Research Unit for Local Studies (ELO) of the Universidade Aberta, the article “Panorama do Cinema e Educação em Portugal: perspetivas históricas e desafios atuais” (Panorama of Cinema and Education in Portugal: historical perspectives and current challenges), in which the author approaches public policies in the field of media education. Raquel Pacheco is a researcher at CIAC and is developing her postdoctoral project in film literacy and media education.
