Ana Paiva Morão publishes new book

Ana Paiva Morão, CIAC collaborator, has just published the book Grande Guerra (1914-1918).  Os Combatentes da Freguesia de Montalvão. In this way, the researcher continues to work on numerous projects of recognized importance for the safeguarding and dissemination of the material and immaterial heritage of this region, including a workshop on Collecting Oral and Traditional Literature, the commemorations of the 500 years of the Foral de Montalvão, the Day of the Castles and of the Day of the Mills and the Colloquium on the Arte Chocalheira.

The launch of the book will take place in Évora, in the Gallery of the Casa dos Burgos, on September 26, at 6:00 pm, in an initiative of the Regional Directorate of Culture of Alentejo. The presentation will be in charge of the General Mário Cardoso, President of the Coordinating Commission for the Centennial Evocations of World War I.
