CIAC AND ESEC PROMOTE SEMINAR ABOUT THE USE OF DIGITAL TOOLS IN THE CLASSROOM

Tomorrow, 22nd October, between 11am and 1pm, the seminar O professor digital: experiências de um projeto de utilização de ferramentas digitais em sala de aula [The digital teacher: experiences from a project on the use of digital tools in the classroom], with Lucía Núñez Sánchez, from the University of Huelva (Spain), will take place. Promoted by ESEC – School of Education and Communication of the University of Algarve and CIAC, the seminar takes place in an open class format.

Organized in the Media Literacy course unit of the Communication Sciences degree, the session will address different applications and technological tools available for teaching and will share, with students and other interested parties, experiences and results from a project Lucía Núñez Sánchez developed with children in this field.

Lucía Núñez Sánchez has a doctorate in Education from the University of Huelva and a master’s degree in University Teaching and Intercultural Education. She has a degree in Pedagogy from the University of Seville, and she has a degree in Active Methodologies Focused on Learning for University Students from the University of Huelva. Since 2008, she has been a teacher at the Pedagogy Department at the Faculty of Education Sciences of the University of Huelva. She has worked as a pedagogue in the fields of early childhood and professional training, and currently also carries out pedagogical work in the Education and Youth Department of the City Council of Palos de la Frontera.
