Paul Spence, senior lecturer in digital humanities at King’s College London, will be the guest speaker.
About the speaker: Paul Spence is a senior lecturer in the Department of Digital Humanities at King’s College London. His academic background is in Hispanic Studies and Latin American Studies. From 2003 to 2010, he headed the research area in “digital text” and was responsible for the development of XML-based tools for the retrieval of information and its subsequent digital publication. He was acting head of the Department of Digital Humanities at King’s College, and has also held key positions in various organisations. His main research interests include digital modelling and representation of knowledge in Humanities, digital publishing and global perspectives in Digital Humanities and Digital Hispanism.
