SEMINAR

CIAC and the School of Education and Communication of the University of Algarve (ESEC) promote a Seminar on Politics and Communication by Álvaro Americano. The event will take place on October 13, at 2:00 p.m., in Paulo Freire Amphitheater in thethe School of Education and Communication of the University of Algarve – Campus da Penha. The admission is free.

Álvaro Americano has a degree in Journalism and a Master in Communication and Culture. He is currently PhD student in Communication, Culture and Arts at the University of Algarve. From his vast CV, he stands out as a film reporter for TV Globo and a reporter for the newspaper Tribuna de Minas. He is a professor of the Journalism Course at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora since 1990, where he teaches radiojournalism and television journalism. He is also professor and vice-coordinator in the Postgraduate Course in TV, Film and Digital Media and healso teaches  in the Postgraduate on Studies in Multiplatform journalism. In the last yars, he has developed his research in the field of Brazilian Newsreels.
