Coordinated by Pere Ferré, the publication Miscelánea de Estudios Sobre el Romancero – Homanaje a Giuseppe Di Stefano, published by the publishing arm of the University of Seville and by the University of Algarve/CIAC, is a work paying tribute to Giuseppe Di Stefano, one of the most important scholars of the ‘Romanceiro’. The collection features articles by several international researchers, in particular by CIAC researchers Pere Ferré “Da fixação oitocentista à redescoberta da voz original” [From 18th-century establishment to the rediscovery of the original voice] and Sandra Boto “Almeida Garrett e o romanceiro antigo” [Almeida Garrett and the old ‘Romanceiro’ oral tradition].
