Professor of higher education in the areas of management and marketing since 1998, he made his professional career at the former German pharmaceutical multinational Schering AG (Berlin), which has since been acquired by Bayer AG; a pioneer in the e-business management of its Portuguese subsidiary, he later held the position of Institutional Communications Manager. He is the author of several technical books, opinion pieces, books and scientific articles on marketing management, e-business and the ethical framework created by the emerging digital paradigm. He has devoted particular attention to the ethical, political and economic implications of blockchain technology and artificial intelligence.
