Ana Isabel Soares to take part in the International Meeting of Cinema and the Other Arts

Ana Isabel Soares, a researcher at CIAC, will take part in the eighth edition of the International Meeting Cinema and Other Arts, which will take place on 25, 26 and 27 September at the University of Beira Interior in Covilhã.

Its main objective is to promote discussion and reflection on current issues relating to the dialogue between different art forms, with cinema as the point of contact. Seeking to join forces in order to test interdisciplinary and intercultural reading hypotheses, researchers from various scientific fields are invited to take part in this meeting, with a special emphasis on Film Studies, Art Studies and Cultural Studies, which, in different disciplinary fields and stages of research, deal with these issues.

Ana Isabel Soares, will present the paper “Between cinema, theatre and literature”, as part of Panel 7 on “Cinema and Literature”, on the second day of the event, 27 September 2024.
