Call for Papers: Special Issue of ROTURA Journal Open Until January 31, 2025
The ROTURA – Journal of Communication, Culture and Arts is now accepting submissions for its special issue titled “Alfamed – Digital Media, Rights, and Citizenship: Challenges for Media Education”. This thematic dossier will focus on new communication models in the digital age, emphasizing the importance of education in understanding and reflecting on the influence of digital media on personal and social development. The call for papers is open until January 31, 2025.
This edition aims to highlight the preservation of universal values such as freedom, as outlined in historical documents like the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It seeks to explore how digital media can promote and protect human rights and how education can address challenges within the digital context.

This issue of the ROTURA will be edited by Dr. Armanda Matos (University of Coimbra, Portugal), Dr. Ana Beltrán Flandoli (Technical University of Loja, Ecuador), and Dr. Paula Renés (University of Cantabria, Spain).
