CIAC Researcher Paulo Falcão Alves Speaks at International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Morocco

CIAC researcher and University of the Algarve professor Paulo Falcão Alves will be joining the keynote panel at DFIE 2026 (2nd edition of the International Colloquium on Digitalisation, Finance, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship), hosted by the École Nationale de Commerce et de Gestion (ENCG) in Agadir, Morocco.

The plenary session, themed “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation: Challenges and Perspectives for Finance, Governance, Sustainability, and Ethics”, takes place this Thursday, October 29, 2026, at the Wall Street Conference Hall (ENCG Agadir).

The panel will focus on the impacts of artificial intelligence and digital technologies on governance, finance, sustainability, and ethics. Alongside Paulo Falcão Alves, the international panel features experts from the United States (Oxana Wieland), Kuwait (Khaled Alsaifi), and Morocco (Hanane El Amraoui), with moderation by Khalid El Badraoui.
