CIAC to attend AVANCA’24

Jorge Carrega, coordinator of CIAC’s Research Group on Film Studies, and Diogo Simão, a researcher at the Centre, will participate in the International Avanca Cinema Conference, which takes place from the 24th to the 28th of July.

Jorge Carrega will present the paper “Early Italian Cinema in Portugal: The Case of the Faro Museum’s Poster Collection”. Diogo Simão has prepared the paper “Case Study of a Trilogy of Cinematic Creative Processes: Training Methodology and Communication Model”.

The International Avanca Cinema Conference aims to map the contemporary production of cinema, television, video, and multimedia.
