The online event is free and open to the public, with certificates issued to registered participants.
🔹️ROBERTO ALENCAR is an actor, dancer, choreographer, and visual artist known for his work that moves fluidly between theatre, dance, and visual arts. His career is marked by the exploration of the body as a poetic language and by the fusion of movement, image, and performance. With experience in various collectives and independent projects, Alencar develops hybrid works that merge performance and visual art, standing out for the expressiveness and aesthetic sensitivity of his creations. He has worked in theatre, contemporary dance, performance, film, and television with directors such as José Possi Neto, José Celso Martinez Corrêa, Renata Melo, Elias Andreato, Helena Ignez, Hector Babenco, Maurício Farias, and Elisa Ohtake. He was a member for eleven years of the dance company directed by Sandro Borelli and, since 2015, has been part of the collective GRUA – Gentlemen de Rua, which explores the body in urban spaces and cinema. As a creator, he directed the performances Um Porco Sentado, Alfaiataria de Gestos, Zoopraxiscópio, Aglomerado, O Olho da Agulha, and Incunábula. He also works as a movement director and body coach in theatrical, musical, and operatic productions — including La Fanciulla del West (dir. Carla Camurati, TMSP), Grão da Voz (dir. Ligiana Costa, Theatro São Pedro), and Verdi’s Macbeth (dir. Elisa Ohtake, TMSP). As a visual artist, he created the illustrated magazine project Tanz Kafka and, as a costume designer, received the 2022 APCA Award for Best Costume Design in Dance.
