Communication Sciences Seminar with Rosana de Sousa to take place on 5 December

The Communication Sciences Seminar, scheduled for 5 December 2025, will feature Rosana de Sousa, who will address the topic “Public Service Media in Portugal: Historical Context, Framework, and Challenges.”

Rosana de Sousa is a Media Analyst in the Qualitative Analysis Unit of ERC – the Regulatory Authority for the Media. She holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Algarve and is currently a Master’s student in Communication Sciences with a Specialisation in Media and Journalism Studies, working on the dissertation “Perceptions, Trust and Consumption: The Relationship of Portuguese Citizens with Public Service Media.”

The event will be held online at 2:30 p.m., and participation is open to the general public. The meeting can be accessed through this link.

This seminar is organised within the scope of the course unit Media Economics and Organisation of the 2nd year of the Communication Sciences programme, taught by Professor Cármen Monereo.
