Jesús Urbano begins research stay at CIAC

Jesús Urbano is currently doing his research internship at CIAC. He is a pre-doctoral researcher in the Department of Theories and Analysis of Communication at the Complutense University of Madrid and specialises in the History and Aesthetics of Cinematography at the University of Valladolid.

His line of research is film studies and focuses on Film Theory and Analysis, Film History, Autofiction and Authorship in Contemporary Cinema. His objectives are centred on the internationalisation of research through the exchange of knowledge and the encouragement of external collaboration within the Complutense research group. He will participate in seminars and conferences organised by CIAC — Research Center for Arts and Communication and the University of Algarve, as well as having access to audiovisual resources and bibliographies to produce an academic publication.

Jesús Urbano’s stay will be from 15th September to 15th December 2024.
