Mirian Tavares participates in the Seminar on Reading, Writing, and Publishing in Education, Culture, and Arts

The Seminar on Reading, Writing, and Publishing in Education, Culture, and Arts, organized by CIEBA – Centre for Fine Arts Studies and Research, will take place on June 6 and 7 at the University of Lisbon (UL) and features the participation of Mirian Tavares, coordinator and researcher at CIAC.

Mirian Tavares will join the panel “Scientific Publishing in Education, Culture, and Arts”, alongside editors from FBAUL’s scientific journals and other national journal editors such as João Paulo Queiroz (FBAUL), Fernando Rosa Dias (FBAUL), and Cristina Barroso Cruz (ESELX/IPL).

The seminar, to be held at the Lagoa Henriques Auditorium of the Faculty of Fine Arts (UL), aims to share experiences in stimulating and sustaining research through study groups/reading circles and the benefits of collective reading practices.

It also aims to explore emerging research methods in Education, Culture, and Arts, the organization and display of scientific information in the morphology of dissertations/theses, and to discover other theoretical paradigms and alternative ways of narrating research using more suitable language strategies and devices, often poetic, for many artistic investigations.
