Next edition of the Forum Pensar Faro coordinated by Jorge Carrega

The 3rd “Forum Pensar Faro”, organized by the Union of Parishes of Faro, focuses this year on the theme “Heritage(s) and Diversity in the 21st Century” and features the participation of CIAC. The event will take place on April 19th, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at the auditorium of the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth in Faro.

The initiative aims to disseminate knowledge and research related to the municipality of Faro, promoting a debate on topics related to history and culture, as well as environment and sustainability.

Jorge Carrega, a researcher at CIAC, assumed the scientific coordination of this event, which also features the participation of researchers Silvia Leiria Viegas and Susana Costa, with presentations titled “Interculturality in Central Algarve: preliminary data for a digital itinerary” and “(In) The Hate Booth: a counter-narrative to online hate speech”, respectively.

Admission is free.
