Science Fair organized by Nobel Algarve School with the support of CIAC

On April 22nd and 23rd, Nobel Algarve British International School hosted over 500 students during its Science Fair, which this year focused on “The Science Behind Cinema”. The event featured various interactive exhibits and activities, including Vision in Action, How It All Began, Popcorn and Co., Social Fun, Lights, Camera, Action, Cinema Sounds, and Physics Heroes.

This event was organized by Professor Rute Oliveira from Nobel Algarve with the support and consultancy of CIAC researchers Alexandre Martins, Jorge Carrega, and Ana Gavina, who provided their expertise on the history of cinema and its interrelation with light, image, and sound.
