The Entrepreneurial Women in ICT Project nominated for the Erasmus+ Good Practices Award 2024

The Entrepreneurial Women in ICT Project, coordinated by Paulo Duarte Branco, a researcher at CIAC, has been nominated for the Erasmus+ Good Practices Award 2024. The winner will be announced at the Erasmus+ Awards Gala 2024, which will take place at the Casa da Cultura da Ericeira, in the municipality of Mafra, on April 9.

The project, empowered by the CIAC Digital Literacy Hub of the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, employs formal and non-formal methodologies to develop various intellectual outcomes, such as women’s access conditions to information and communication technologies (ICT), online educational toolbox, an innovative online platform for multiple devices, pedagogical tools, evaluation, validation, and recognition, as well as a pedagogical model for online learning and related activities.

The Erasmus+ Good Practices Award aims to identify projects that have been particularly successful within the scope of the program and are considered representative of different sectors of education and training. This consideration takes into account objectives, activities, target groups, and results, with the goal of promoting recognition, visibility, and impact of the funded activities and outcomes under Erasmus+.

All Erasmus+ projects classified as good practices are identified as such on the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform, which is easily and publicly accessible on this platform of the European Commission. Some of these projects are used as examples to illustrate the actions and results of the program, both at the central (EC) and national levels.
