Visual Arts Cycle returns on April 7th with Bertílio Martins and Milita Doré
Artists Bertílio Martins and Milita Doré will be present on April 7th at 3:00 PM, in room 2.37 at FCHS, in Gambelas campus, as part of the Visual Arts Cycle, to speak about the project Desaguar, the artistic residencies and the exhibitions that are part of it.
Milita Doré holds a degree in Visual Arts and a Master’s in Creative Processes from the University of Algarve. She has been exhibiting regularly since 2004 in both institutional and independent contexts. She is a member of the collectives 289 and Alfaia. Her practice explores the human condition through drawing, installation, and video, focusing on the body and its interpretation, with a strong connection to intimacy.
Bertílio Martins graduated in Visual Arts from the University of Algarve in 2011 and completed a Master’s in Communication, Culture and Arts in 2016. He is a university professor. In his artistic practice, the human body appears as a territory of transformation. Through India ink, he explores densities, transparencies, and gestures that oscillate between control and dissolution. He exhibits regularly in different institutional and independent spaces and is one of the founding members of the collective 289.
