Ana Isabel Soares attends the launch of the book Não Sou Nada – Um filme pós-pessoano de Edgar Pêra
On June 13th, the launch of the book from the Pessoa Collection, titled Não Sou Nada – Um filme pós-pessoano de Edgar Pêra, will take place. The publication includes a contribution from Ana Isabel Soares, a researcher at CIAC.
The book, coordinated by Jerónimo Pizarro, accompanies the feature film Não Sou Nada — The Nothingness Club (2023), directed by Edgar Pêra. The film is a noir piece that provides an enigmatic view of the mind of poet Fernando Pessoa and his heteronyms, offering an experience that seeks to immerse the viewer in the intellectual and emotional complexity of these characters.
This publication is essential for those looking to deepen their understanding of Edgar Pêra’s film and how it explores the life and work of Fernando Pessoa. Ana Isabel Soares contributed to this book with the essay “Regressar do Nada”.
The book launch will be held at the Lisbon Book Fair, at Praça da Laranja, on June 13th at 3:00 PM, featuring Edgar Pêra, Jerónimo Pizarro, Ana Isabel Soares, Rui Sousa, and Teresa Lima.
